Frequently asked questions

Send your product links and destination before purchasing or shipping any goods to us. Eligibility and prices must be confirmed first.

Can ChinaCheck buy products on my behalf?

No. We currently do not offer purchasing or payment-on-your-behalf services. You must order and pay sellers yourself. Contact us before purchasing so we can check product eligibility and provide confirmed receiving instructions. Never send goods to an address that we have not confirmed.

Do I have to pay for a video inspection?

No. You can ask for basic receiving and consolidation of eligible small items within an agreed scope. Personalized video inspection is an optional extra. We confirm the complete quote, air-freight cost and any applicable tax responsibilities before dispatch.

Why should I trust a new service?

We're a new project. We do not claim fake reviews or completed customer orders. Start by asking for a written quote and a sample inspection checklist, and do not send any goods until a verified warehouse address and service agreement are provided.

Are prices fixed?

Prices shown are starting estimates, not binding offers. You will receive a written quote setting out the inspection scope and charges. Shipping and destination taxes are separate, and eligibility must be confirmed.

How is international air freight paid?

After parcels are packed and measured, we provide or coordinate a shipping quote. Our preferred arrangement is for you to pay the carrier directly, where the carrier supports it. ChinaCheck does not advance or pay international freight on your behalf. We confirm the available route, payer, documents and process before dispatch.

Can the recipient pay the carrier at delivery?

Recipient-paid freight or freight collect may be possible only if the carrier and route explicitly support it. We must confirm this before accepting the shipment. It is not cash on delivery for the merchandise or ChinaCheck service fees. Import taxes and customs charges may be collected separately by the carrier or customs authority.

Do you handle machinery, oversized goods or sea freight?

No. We specialize in lightweight, compact everyday items suited to air parcels. We do not accept machinery, industrial equipment, heavy cargo, oversized, bulky or high-volume goods, or ocean freight. Some apparently light items may still be expensive because carriers often use dimensional (volumetric) weight for pricing.

What if the item has a problem?

We share the issue and available options. Where the original seller's policies and deadlines allow, we can help coordinate a domestic return or exchange. Outcomes and any additional charges will be confirmed with you.

Can I send battery products, toys, lamps or paints?

Not under our initial service. We do not accept batteries or battery-powered goods, including powered toys and lamps; paints, solvents, sprays, aerosols, flammable liquids or other dangerous goods. We also exclude children's toys, electrical items and products needing special testing, certification or import permits. Some products may be legally transportable through specialist channels, but ChinaCheck does not arrange those routes. Please send a product link for review before buying or shipping anything.

Do you inspect every kind of product?

No. We initially focus on permitted, low-risk everyday goods. Some products require specialist testing or cannot be shipped. Visual inspection cannot guarantee authenticity, compliance or hidden product defects.

Will I need to pay import duties or VAT?

Import duties, VAT and other taxes or customs fees depend on the destination, product and current local regulations. Any estimate is subject to confirmation by the appropriate carrier or customs professional. They are separate from our service fees.

Do you ship to Europe and the Middle East?

We welcome requests from Europe and the Middle East as well as the United States. We check product eligibility, available routes, customs rules and estimated charges for each destination before confirming an order. Availability is not guaranteed for every country or product.

Can small shops request multiple items?

Yes, for compact everyday goods that fit our small-parcel air-shipping focus. We do not source machinery, arrange large-volume freight or provide sea freight. Ask us first with the product links, quantities and estimated dimensions.

Who is listed as the shipper, and who handles customs declarations?

Shipping documents must reflect the actual shipment and the carrier’s requirements. ChinaCheck may be listed as shipper only where that matches the real arrangement and the carrier permits it. The shipper, exporter/declarant and freight payer may be different parties. Product descriptions, quantities and declared values must be accurate. We confirm the roles and documentation process before dispatch; customs clearance cannot be guaranteed.
